Footform analysis

Important insights through manual examination

In addition to the electronic foot analysis, manual palpation may reveal to the specialist acute pain spots, inflammations and lumps.

Digiscan

Precise measurements

A Digiscan determines the size and breadth of the feet.

This method has the advantage that the condition of the skin (cortisone skin) and injuries or ulcers can be seen on a 1:1 scale, as on a photograph.

A plantar pressure measurement of the foot soles may even reveal malalignments of the next level (e.g., protruding of the inside ankles).

Therefore our expert is able to use the best suited material for the customer, depending on the latter's skin condition.

Foot impression

Weight-bearing analysis

The foot impression records pressure areas, such as calluses and open wounds on the sole. Hence it is the basis for implementing corrective measures such as insoles.

Furthermore, the foot impression and the Digiscan ascertain the size and breadth of the feet. In this kind of footform analysis, our expert also takes measure in the traditional way.

The foil test

Analysis when bearing weight

After the foot impression has been made, the length and type of shoe needed must be determined . The foot impression foil is necessary for checking the shoe lasts, which have been made based on the foot impression.

The foil also marks skin lesions, bone overgrowth (extostoses) and serves for a final check of the lasts.
